Where can I get a piece of acrylic (5.5" x9")

KMP

Wag More; Bark Less
Was wondering if anyone could point me to where I could get a piece of acrylic cut to size for a sump. I recently picked up a sump and the return area is big enough for me to split in half so I can have me a little cheto chamber. I'd want it cut for me. Thanks.

will home depot cut it for you? also, i've heard folks mention before to use "weld 4" or something like that to glue the piece in place. what exactly is that called and where do you get it?

if not that - tap plastics - thanks.

thanks

Weld On number 16 is what I use... is the tank for your sump glass or acrylic?
Weld On is available at tap

thank you.

the sump is acrylic. here is a link - just got it friday - if you click on the second picture you can see the area i'm working with.

for any sump/fuge experts out there - do you think this would work? from the skimmer area (middle) to the return (right side) it goes over a baffle and then under. my thoughts were to simply put a divider piece in the return area from bottom to (? - not sure on height). i'm wide open to any suggestions you guys may have.

it won't be much (4" wide x 9" long x " high) but i'd like some cheato rather than none.

I have a piece thats about 10" x 6 and its 3/8 inch thick. I used the same stuff in my sump yesterday and have some aquarium silicone left over too.

thanks steven. sorry i didn't call - been in the garage and at the stores getting the final pieces for assembly of the tank.

that sounds like the right size. not sure what the thickness is on my current tank but will check and send you a pm.
