where can i get a unique mantis.

My LFS only carry the peacocks and rainbows, I want a more unique kind. I was looking for a yellow or purple or something different. I had a peacock awhile ago before he broke his tank while i was at work, so im looking for a new one. Any help is appreciated!!!

i think its a platy anyway, idk, looked again, no eyespots - cant say.

I think the ebay one you just linked is a G. chiragra.

stomatopod.com is best from what i hear. TBS has N. wennarae. Sea life inc (ken) often gets some pretty cool mantids sometimes I think

is he still in business? does he list them on his website or do you need to ask special. I don't think he sells on ebay anymore, this is "olddiver" on ebay, right?

is he done? oh, I hadn't heard anything about that. shame, he got some nice stuff in once in a while. I didn't really try to keep up to date with him though since I live in the far-away land of Canada... freakin nobody ships up here!

stomatopod. com in theory is good but they like update like once a year and there prices are high. I find the best bet is just to go or call every LFS that has marine set ups and ask them what they get(as hitch-hikers too, becuase u'd be suprissed how many they get and kill). I once found 5 different mantis in my area- all kinda rare
