Where can I get an osmolator?

Nowhere and this is a global situation. They have a bench full of them but the one molded piece that holds the senssor is short and until we finish the Stream production run and the prototyping for Interzoo the machines cannot be shanged to make this part. Expect a 6 week delay.

Are you guys accepting applications for a new CEO yet? I can't imagine the thousands of dollars you guys are loosing b/c you don't have these and units available.... thought that the whole short supply of Streams would have changed operating procedure.....especially after that thread about "most neccessary piece of equipment" made the osmolator sound like it's worth it's weight in gold....
did I mention that I have to leave my tank alone for a week and a half and I don't trust my roomates to top-off any more than I trust a float switch.... Where are these things???? and who's making these parts??? I can't beleive that it takes that long - maybe you guys could find someone more local to make them???

Made in house, owned and operated by Axel Tunze. Sorry, it is the way it is and eventually when everything else people buy fails they come back so in the end I don't think we lose business. The Streams are now very close to being stock- in fact the 6060 and 6080 are stock items and after next week the 6000's will have no backorders. The Osmolator is a problem because the way we make things is one or two people are trained to make just that product, the person who made the osmolators had some family health issues and couldn't return to work. In Germany an employee is your lifetime responsibility, you cannot fire someone so the interview and selection process is very strict and only a couple months ago a replacement was found, no units had been made since January. I will try to get an update Monday but we just are very far behind and it is going to take a while to catch up.

hmmmm, what to do; what to do. I've been sweating over finding an osmolator for the last couple weeks ... but then after reading your posts I saw that could get an osmoMAtor - which is what I really need b/c I'll be mounting this on my main tank anyway (no sump). There's still some of those available right?
Why is it that every time I get frazzled over something ( I don't get frazzled easily, I'm a pretty easy-going guy ) it turns out I had no need to .

OsmoLAtor, I think they're starting to come in.
I called the place last week and they were out, then I called again last night to see if they had an Osmomat, but they didn't..... all they has were 2 osmomators, I had to leave happy hour early to make the hour drive to the store, even got pulled over for blowing a red light (no ticket ha ha :lol and got there 15 mins before closing -
