where can i pick up a 'kill a watt' meter locally?

when i went to philippines & japan last year. i saw an advertisement of "power star". its suppose to cut down on your electricity to an estimate of 1/3 cost. i dont know if its true, mainly the commercial was in japanese, but its suppose to stabilize the ac current and eliminate power sucking equipment while they're "off".
i got hold of someone who sells it overseas for $150 plus shipping. anyways, have anyone heard / uses this product.

Quit your guys rants about fuel prices. I have to buy deisel for my car and it is usually priced the same as premium gas...... Dang why am I complaining, I get an average of 42 mpg!

Is that $300 a plug? haha Save money on your electic bill, just buy this plug thingy for each outlet. Only $300 per plug, wire your whole house for only $6,000. Yo Greg...42mpg? Are you TRYING to sound like a complete "you know what"?? haha seriously, that's cool. Is it a diesel beetle?

I've seen Greg's vehicle and it was no beetle :D Way to go with the diesel. Now there's a decision that's paid for itself several times over

nope, TDI jetta. I'm still waiting for the next generation to be allowed in CA but the EPA keeps changing the rules of the game. I swear it's like some conspiracy to keep those hybrid lobbist happy in Washington DC. Clean diesel cars could reduce our dependency on foreign oil far faster than those hybrids. the technology is already here and in use in Europe. VW's Lupo TDI gets 80mpg! Maybe people worldwide will have a different view of deisel when Audi mops up the competition at this years 24 hour Le Mans race next month with a TDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they expect to win by at least 10 laps.
