Where do you keep your jedi mind trick?

Have had a jedi mind trick frag for months. Lately it has seemed to lose color and kinda dull out. It is about mid height in the tank, I am wondering if it needs to go toward the bottom. Or opposite, does it need to go higher??? Where do you guys keep them?

Water salinity is 1.026, calc 420, alk 7.7dkh. I have many lps(frog spawn, acans, favias, lobos) and sps(acro, montis, etc) all doing great. Just this one that's not happy looking. Nothing close to it either that could sting it.

The one I currently have is about 12" below a 175 watt 14K MH bulb along with two T5 Actinics. Color looks good and growth is much better than another piece I had about midway in the tank years ago.

Assuming your Phosphates & Nitrates are within limits, yes. At least for a week or so and see how it responds. If it takes a turn for the worst then move it down to the bottom and see how it reacts there.

What type of coral is Jedi Mind Trick? I have kept JMT Montipora, an SPS, but this is the LPS forum, so I'm guessing you don't mean that?

What I have seen is M undata, which is sps, as you said.
