Howdy Reefers, This Oki forum is okay!! I was stationed at camp Butler for a year or so and that's how I got into reefkeeping, a little over twenty years ago. Let me tell you that I miss snorkeling in the far east. I was a Marine musician and we traveled all the Pacific war campaign islands including Wake island Midway,Quasuline, Guam, Hawaii, but nothing compares to Siapan. I have been planning a trip back to the south Pacific - I hope to one day return to the beauty that has inspired me since I left the Corps in 89'. Happy Birthday to all you Marines too!!! I'm a Union SheetMetal worker in Phoenix Arizona, it's a decent paying job that allows me to support my addiction.... I believe mike and a few others have posted some pics of our 6am snorkeling excursions of live reef in the ocean. Its beautiful.
