A friend of mine has a birthday coming up, and he's been wanting a peacock mantis shrimp for the past 6 months. He's got a 30g acrylic tank, all set up and ready since summer... but our LFS is horrible back there and can not order him one.
Soo.... we wanted to get him one for his birthday (don't worry -- we're going to warn him once we find a source so he can make sure he's got the necessary foodstuffs and all)... but we can't find any peacock mantises... and he's SURE he wants the peacock. He actually turned down this greenish mantis that the LFS managed to get since it wasn't a peacock.
He lives in the Seattle area, and we live closer to eastern WA. We're going to do an LFS hunt to see if any of the eastern WA LFS's can order one, but if they can't -- are there any good sources out there?
