where should i first place my rose anemone?

i just bought one and is drip acclimating it right now, where should i place it when its ready? under a dark rock? in the light? on sand? at the top?

in a crack with low flow in decent light, if it doesn't approve of where you put it, yull kno. gently hold it with its foot towards a lil hole

I would make sure any powerheads or anything that the nem can get caught in (filter tubes) are covered. When they aren't happy, they will roam the tank until they find that happy spot.

if it attached itself in a cup, should i put the cup into the tank and let it climb out itself?

haha. I haven't tried tickling but I've tried using ice on the foot. Worked ok when attached to smoother rock but if the rock is super porous, you'll have a hard time getting him off easy. Ice has worked for me 50/50
