Where to buy Cuttlefish (Sepia Bandensis) babies / eggs?

Your gunna have one hell of a time finding them ... good luck

Contact a member called Lefty, he might be able to help I remeber he had a bunch of eggs a while back and was trying to breed them.

Just saw another thread of yours

Dont bother with a sepia unluss you are dedicating the entire system to it. Its not reef tank suitable.

why?

temperature matches, and I don't have any anemone's, euphilia or LPS except maybe an open brain coral.

Hi Rich! yeah it's me =P

this is the only forum I was using koden, the others were all kinetic, so I decided to be more consistent ;)

do you know how long you'll be selling these cuttles for? is this just a one time thing? I can probably keep the temporarily in a 32G that I've had running for about 7-8 months now, I'll just have to transfer my fish and shrimp to a prop tank. But if they'll be available in a month from now, I could always wait for my 98g to finish ;)

thanks!

Wouldn't it be ok to keep a pair in a ~30g? (Not filtration, only "living room")

I guess that would be pushing it a bit, but seems doable from what I've read.

Did you read my article Art? Look at the section about raising babies. :D

bah! i've read your article at least 3 times! hehehe =) Time to go read it again...

and I just did. I guess you only have that one batch and won't be getting more =(

Art, these are wild caught, so I will prolly have some for a while. The point was how I recommend keeping the babies for the first couple of months. In a net breeder. So, stick a net breeder in your tank, leave the fish alone and you will have plenty of time to get the cuttle tank up and running.
