ok, dumb question I know.

Looked in Lowes, couldn't find any. can someone please tell me where to get this stuff?

thanks

I got some at Lowe's and found them in the suspended ceiling tile section. As bad santa mentions, it's called a light diffuser. Although I couldn't find it for $4 - the only one my Lowe's carried was a 4'x3' piece and it was $9 or so.

Yes, I have found it at both places.

It is usually in the lightening section, near the fluorscent lighting fixtures for garages/offices/etc.

Saw it at Lowes the other day. They would not cut it for me though. Sheets come about 4 ft by 5 ft or so. Just guessing. ~$12

I got it at lowes last week. found it with the industrial style flourescent lighting. Its usually below the lights in cardboard boxes.

themolt, its really easy to cut. The best way I have expierenced is using a wire cutter. it is the cleanest and most accurate.

Ive tried reciprocating saws and needlenose plyers, but the best is the wire cutter/stripper

yea. i didn't have any tools to cut it, plus i only needed 10 in by 10 in. expensive for so little.

thanks for the advice on how to cut it. i'll use this down the road.

Diagonal-Cutters work find for triming. Just make sure the blade is at least the same length as the material cuting for a clean cut.

I found it at Home Depot in 2'x2' sheets for $12.99 each in the lighting section. I just bought a new sharp pair of wire cutters to trim it to size, they made very nice and clean cuts.
