Where to buy fish online???

I've kept reefs before but the focus has always been on the corals. I'm going to be setting up a FOWLR and would like to know if there are any reliable online retailers other than the big guys (Blue Zoo, Live Aquaria, etc.)

Are there any or am I better off ordering through an LFS?

P.S., I won't be setting this tank up til I'm moved and will be in the Milwaukee, WI area.

Not sure why you would be looking for a little guy. The big guys got big because they continue to sell good stock and stand behind the product when something goes wrong.

If you find a little guy you want to consider come here and research them.

Wisconsin sucks. I just sold my property up der near Chippewa Falls. Have fun with winter. I'm in Florida now. But yeah LiveAquaria has a location a couple hours from Milwaukee. Order or just buy from them. It's there main hub. Wisconsin sucks.

LiveAquaria is awesome; I have no idea why you want to avoid them. If you just want to support small businesses, check out Jordan from Among the Reef. He can get you rare fish for decent prices.

I agree with those 2. Also, I have had great success with Vividaquariums and NYaquatics.

+3 on liveaquaria i have never had a issue with there fish always healthy and full no skinny pinched belly ick infested fish plus the 14 day guaranty is a no brainer look at there weekly sales for good prices
if you want to support a lfs buy dry goods or give them a donation

I've had good luck with LA. My mom's gotten DOA's. If anything doesn't make it they refund no questions asked. The only DOA I had was a peppermint shrimp who molted during transit.

I've gotten lots of corals from them as well.
