where to buy Gate Valve for mod to ASM G3 skimmer

I don't want to pay $50 for $20 worth of parts at ASMSkimmer.com for the gate valve mod, where can I get them cheap?

You can get an 1 1/2" galte valve at www.savko.com, the other parts needed are available at any hardware store.

look up plumbing supply in your local phone book, just need a gate valve and a couple pvc parts.

You can also use a "knife" valve from a pool and spa supply house. They're gate valves typically used as isolation valves. Be sure and replace the nuts/bolts with nylon or stainless steel products.

These valves seem to be more commonly available than PVC gate valves, and cheaper also ($8 for mine).
