Where to buy Nori?

I have tried my local supermrket with no luck. Does anyone know where I can buy Nori near Joliet?

I checked out their locations and the nearest one is in Wheaton, about 30 miles away. Any one know of any aisan food markets?

I'll have to check, but I think the Dominick's on rte 59 and Black might carry it. I buy mine at a few different Korean markets in Lisle and up in Chicago, but I think the Dominicks may carry it....they've got a fairly good Asian section....and I've seen sushi in the deli section.

When you buy it from the market, make sure they are not roasted with salt and sesame oil on it.

Do a search for Asian grocery stores in your area. Mine sells 10 sheets of Nori for $1.35, that's even cheaper than Meijer.

I buy mine at an Asian supermarket in Naperville. It is in Ogden about a couple of miles west of 53 half a block from the Jeep dealership.
They have about 20 different virieties and sell bags of 50 and 100 pieces for about 4 bucks.

I know that many of the Meijers stores carry it. I get mine from the local all natural/health nut store.

Any korean grocery store/supermarket will carry it. You might be able to get it cheaper in Chinatown

All Dominick's stores carry it in their specialty area.

Thanks everyone, I will try dominicks I drive by one on the way home. The one on Theodore sounds good to, I will have to check it out. I am looking for some seafood as well, have to make some fish food and the local jewel's variety sucks.
