not all isopods are parasitic, generally the ones that have big distinct eyes are the bad guys................i wouldnt worry...........

Try ebay. I can't find the buyer I bought from, but I got some cheto, pods, a few snails, and a little live sand a rock for about $50 shipped... everything was shipped priorty mail and everything was alive.

i just bought some last week from ashby aquatics.hopefully the spelling is correct.they have tigger pods.come 500 in a bottle.like 25 bucks shipped.i found them online.the pods come from the same people that do the phyto feast or whatever.

when i was buying pods, ive since given up trying to keep pod population up for mandarin,i got em from florida pets or inland aquatics......................chaeto i got from bills reef................or searched the selling forums
