Like the title says, where to buy all the pvc pipes n fittings n valves. I made a trip to Lowe's. Selection is ok.any online stores to check out?

Personally I'd get it from BRS. Great selection of specific fittings you need.

Yeah if you want to spend double or more on it. I like BRS but other then gate valves and unions your better off getting the rest from the hardware store. I priced out the stuff I needed from BRS and it was 3 times the cost of what I spent at Menards not to mention it was easy to take back the fittings I didn't use.

I didnt mean the pipe, sorry. But some of the stuff they carry you just can't find at a hardware store. The wye valves, PVC gates, etc. Elbows and other crap yeah, lowes or something.

Oh and a bit of advice, buy all your unions from the same brand. Some of them are different and don't interchange. So if you want to swap a ball valve for a gate and you have some weird brand Union, finding matching ones is a PiTA.

ACE Hardware if I need it now, www.flexpvc.com and www.pvcfittingsonline.com are my two go to sources. Their prices are half that of Home Depot even with shipping and they have everything you could possible need for plumbing a tank. From clear pvc to bulkheads, to compact valves, 3 ways, true Union ball valves, gate valves, etc. You name it, they have it.

www.savko.com is local to me. HD is so-so, Lowes better, but for actual gate valve and true unions, I go to savko, tell the dude behind the counter what my crazy scheme is this time, he goes in the back and comes out with exactly what I'm looking for.

U.S. Plastics, and there's a plumbing joint by me that sells to contractors but also has a decent selection in store. They're called FW Webb around here, maybe you have something similar.

Lowes or HD for me. I can't think of one thing that they wouldn't have for my plumbing needs. What exactly is it you are looking for that is missing? Maybe we can help direct you.

The cheapest place here is Plumbers supply Ferguson and the like...

Check your local phone book for these type of places. Before you go into them .
1. know the Correct names of what you need
2. know the Quanity of what you need...
3. be sure you take a Check and Cash or call ahead.. some only deal with Customer Accounts and Cash..
4. Go over number 1 again.. The people who work in these places often get angry if you ask them too many Questions about how to use the stuff. They usually sell to licenses plumbers and Contractors...
5. Be Prepared to buy a bit more then you would need . But will likely save you some money and hassle running back and forwards to plumbing supply place.

But as most said Lowes here has most everything But Some FITTINGS like valves and unions are 6 times there price..
A ball valve at plumbers supply 1 inch size is 340. at lowes 7 dollars... online i have found them for 2.00 IF YOU Buy a BOX of 20....

The HD here has no unions at all.

Lowes has a very limited selection of some sketchy Union ball valves. The standard unions are OK.

The only place I've ever found a PVC gate or a wye check valve is at BRS or marine depot.

cheese n crackers, you guys know all the hot spots. well now to go online shopping.
lowes was a little pricey for me as in ball valves n unions, stuff like that. thank you
