AS for RO water I could give you some if you want to pick it up

Or there is a place called chicago aquatics, i think, its combined with a reptile/bird store. off of John Humfrey Dr. Just north of orland square mall, ¢.50 a gallon

Why buy it? At .50 cents a gallon plus gas, a $200 RO/DI unit pays for itself very quickly...not to mention the convenience of being able to make it yourself.

I think McLiffy2 has convinced me to buy a RO/DI unit.

If you want to buy RO water then consider Aquatica in Tinley Park. They also have quality fish and colars. You will also see thier huge shark display.

Just for future knowledge, you also have Rob's Aquatics on 171st and Harlem,in the same parking lot as the Jewel, behind the McDonalds.
The # is 708-444-7627

Also, there's Reef City Aquatics in Frankfort at Lincoln Hwy/80th Ave. He sells it for .50 cents/gallon.

Small store, but he usually has a decent selection. The owner, Mark is a really nice guy and is always willing to help. I got some nice Favia frags from him over the summer.
