Where to eat

I know this may be a little subjective, but I will be in the eastern Nashville area next week and would like to find a couple of places to eat.

Steak/BBQ are towards to top of my list, but I enjoy most any good food.

Probably be closer to Lebanon than Nashville.

Thanks

I would suggest Wasabi's in Mt Juliet for habachi steak....unless you want a major chain I would go with Ruby Tuesdays in Lebanon or O'Charleys. Unique GOOD food is Corey's Dog House in Mt. Juliet. Fossie's Bar-b-que in Dickson is the best this side of the Mississippi in my opinion.

Yea, I guess I should have spent more time looking at the map.

Mods - can I request a move???

Thanks for the info Jennifer. Definitely some options there to consider. And yes, I do want to stay away from the major chains.

Let me think on this some more and I will let you know.....I know that Junkyard Dog in Hohenwald is THE BEST steak I had EVER put in my mouth I've ate there twice! It's off the beaten path but worth EVERY mile.

Farmers Restaurant in Dickson is noteworthy.
There are not many "freelance" restaurants in the lebanon area anymore that are open regularly during dinner hours...

I used to live out in the Cookeville area and I worked in Dickson, so I think I have eaten in most restaurants between here and there.
