Where to fill Co2 bottle in clarksville?

Not looking to swap my tank i want a place that will fill my tank and hand it back to me.

To do that you will need to deal directly with a gas Co such as Airgas, Not sure If they sell to the public?

Airgas sells to the public. Thye may only do swap though. If it is a beverage tank then got to a beverage distributor...most will do it.

Their is a Pepsi bottler just off of the interstate @ Exit 1, I think. They might be able to help locate someone.

Wow i thought it would be more accessible then that. There are several locations in Clarksville you can walk in with a NOS tank have them fill it and 5-10 mins later your on your way, just assumed some place existed like that for Co2 as well.

The reason i ask is because i have exactly that, bottles i used for NOS back in the day and some of them are not your standard size bottles. Kinda hard to put a 5lb bottle on a motorcycle, so i have a few shinny polished 1lb bottles i would like to get filled.

Just called Volunteer welding and they do refill on sight 5lbs is $11.47 out the door. 931-648-0951

Didnt get an answer at airgas.

Cost me 14.00 for a 20# refill at the welding place In Franklin!

Im gonna keep looking around then.
I have a 10lb i want to fill also and just use my 1lbs for the time between refilling the 10.

They may not fill a NOS bottle with CO2. There are strict regulations around the disbursement and transport of gas types. NOS is a lot lighter (less dense) gas than Co2. I am not saying that is the case, but be prepared of the possibility that your NOS canisters to not have the proper ratings for CO2. Usually canisters need to be water tested and certified at some interval. That's what all those stickers are on the tanks.

Ok turns out Volunteer is not in clarksville, they have a clarkville number that is forwarded to them in nashville.

Same price for 10lbs as for 5 so looks like its just the cost for the labor and not the gas itself.

Airgas in clarksville only does exchanges.

Ok another update. Queen City Fire Equipment Co 931-648-2183 will fill Co2 in Clarksville. Told me over the phone about $20 for 10lbs filled so double what i would pay in Nashville but i would spend that in gas driving so im pleased.
