where to get a phone book

is there a place to get a phonebook if you dont have a land line?

I need a phone book to look up various things...vets, a glass shop, etc

Go to you city hall, they should be able to tell you. Also they can hook you up with the welcome commity. And they probly get them, just for the newbies.

www.switchboard.com works too. I believe there are quite a few on-line phone books.

Or I'll sell you one of mine for $50. It's a big book after all.

y eah but the yellow pages are easier for finding a glass dealer in west county, for example

you could barrow one from the mall or any other local store. just ask to barrow it to look up something for a few minutes. then simply walk out forgetting to return it while it is still in your hands
