Where to get flexible PVC (spaflex)?

Trying to find this stuff locally. The Lowes in Mandarin stocks up to 1 1/2" but they are out of it and have been for a long time. Any ideas? I need some 1", 1 1/2", and a little bit of 2". Thanks

The big orange here carries 1 1/2", not sure about 2". When you get the spaflex that thick, it is very hard to work with. Are you going to heat it? I would be interested in knowing your techniques since I have a 1 1/2" drain, and am thinking of replumbing my tank.

Ace Hardware on Atlantic Blvd a few blocks from the beach has different sizes. Not sure exactly what sizes they have, but last time I looked I remember the having a few.

Goldstripe I read somewhere that flex PVC might be a bad thing. It was Schimer I think said nothing grew in it (sponges. tubeworms, stuff you would normally find) ? Thought I world mention it:bum:

Fish Maniac carries some and there is a spla place on St. Johns Bluff near Atlantic Blvd. this is where I got mine and I have 2" huge drains!

Thanks everyone for the replies. After more phone calls, I was directed to Ace @ Atlantic & Hodges. They had what I needed in 1", 1 1/2", and 2".

This is the first time I've used any Spa Flex at all so my plan was to heat it if I needed to. Right now I have all the Spa Flex layed out in the garage with pipe running thru it. Tomorrow when the sun is out, I'll drag them out and hopefully they'll straighten out some. The 1" and 2" stuff will be on a straight line for the most part under the stand. I'm using it to kinda shield the plumbing from pump vibration to a degree. The 1 1/2" will be for the drains and will have to bent around and I'll plan on using some 22.5's and 45's to get it where I need it to go. We'll see. I may get so frustrated with it that I throw it in the garbage who knows.

Is having sponges tubeworms, etc. in the plumbing an asset to the tank? I'm not being a smart@#$, I really don't know. With all the "turmoil" around the board lately, I don't want my question to be misconstrued as being cynical.

Seems like that kind of growth would slow down flow.

It would slow flow a bit, but it also acts as natural filter. Similar to the Calfo Aiptasia filter box.
