I heard last year the Walmart on Corridor G had some. It's called Old Castle now instead of Southdown.

theres a walmart close to home, ill check there this evening.
steve, when i find some regular sand, ill definitly take a bucket of live sand for the top layer, and to help with cycling. or do you think a bucket full would be enough for about 2" in a 65 gallon? im not sure how many pounds i need or how much a bucket full would weigh.

65gallon AGA tank

stand

4x75watt VHO retro, still need bulbs, was thinking 2 daylight and 2 actinics, any suggestions?

aqua-c remora pro hang on skimmer, still need a pump for this probably going to go with a maxijet 1200.

about 100pounds of base rock, not going to use it all. gonna use about 50pounds of base and 50pounds of live rock

hang on the back refugium from cpr, dont know much else about this

heater, salt, test kits, some other misc. stuff but thats the guts of my setup.just need to get my sand, live rock. and i should be set.

im still learning, so any help/advice you guys can give me would be appreciated. im sure ill have more questions. thanks.

i would like to do that too, but im not sure a 5gallon bucket will be enough. unless steve has more than 1 bucket for sale. i used the calculator and it said i would need about 75 pounds of sand. i dont know how much a bucket would weigh. steve, do you know how much a bucket weighs? if you have enough let me know. thanks.

I've got some dry sand you can have if you come get it this weekend. It used to be live... about 30# I think. PM me if you might want it.

You shouldn't have a problem using dry sand and seeding it with live.
Where are you in WV? If Steve doesn't have any more and you really want to use all live I have over a 100+ pounds of live aragonite sand.

amy,

your PM box is full. that sounds great!! ill PM you later when you empty your box and we will work out the details. thanks alot!!

I used a bucket of sand when I started my mom's 75 gallon tank. I would say around 4 gallons of sand and it was plenty.
