Where to go from here.....FS/FT?

I have consolidated most of my stuff out of my 24g aquapod into my new 125 oceanic tank and now it looks pitiful and empty except for a small quantity of live rock that was in the bottom part of the tank. I am considering the idea of a QT or a Frag tank to turn that into or strictly a marine tank with one lionfish or something that they boys get excited about (maybe a warted angler or something, I don't know). What suggestions would y'all make that I do with this thing....I feel kinda funny maintaining an empty tank.......

LOL @ adrian! I have always wanted to do a large freshwater planted tank. I saw some that were amazing. if I didnt have to sell the 225, I was gonna do that.

I set up a 12g zoa/ric "garden" for my daughters room when she was born. A shrimp and two mated clownfish were the only swimmers.

An anemone tank would be good. In a tank that small, keeping a pair of clowns would be really interesting. You have an almost guaranteed chance of getting a mated pair, and its truly rewarding to have your fish breed if you haven't witnessed that already.

For some reason, I feel dirty typing that.

IMO most anenomes will get too big for that tank eventually although a captive raised one would make a nice display with a pair of clowns. I have always thought pistol shrimp goby pairs were cool. I like to keep my main display BB so when I have set up smaller displays in the past I put a few inches of sand and put in a shrimp/goby pair. That and some zoanthids and maybe a few LPS and other gobies/smaller fish will make a nice attractive interesting display:)

I put my goby/shrimp pair in my large tank. I have a tiger and an Orange Prawn. I have a black and a true percula also in the large tank and the black keeps showing off for my orange clown. I am not even sure if they would breed. Interesting ideas though. Thanks!

I thought about that, but I heard they are really hard to take care of.....and when I work in dickson for a few days in a row my mom "feeds my fish"; I wouldn't wanna make it any harder on her.
