where to ID worms?

i looked and looked to find the ID section...anyways...who has an idea what the in the world this thing is? the part that came out was a good 5 inches long...no telling how much longer it really is...and there is a clear slime around the hole that it swims/climbs through...

well i found the worm forum...but i couldn't wait any longer...did some looking around...and judging by its size...it didn't need to be in a 29gal biocube...took the rock out (was the base of my aquascaping!!!) and split the rock in half...out he poured..see pics!

lol...it better not be...i've gathered rock from multiple stores from sarasota to brandon over the years...no telling where it really came from...
 
Oenone fulgida, google that. i had someone else id it for me. it was eating a snail when i seen the clear slime in the tank.
 
I have seen Eunice aphroditius worms that werent out of the hole all the way and were over 5 feet long in the Keys. As big around as a ping pong ball. They look like that,and they have 4 fangs that are at 4 sides. They can see too, as I pull some algae away from it, and it would grab it with its fangs, and pull it back. It was kind of spooky, because it going out 5 feet, and I was in 4 feet of water, and fairly close to it. They are found around the world.

lol...crazy stuff out there...i got this guy to stretch out to 2ft...not very thick...but to think he was cruzing around in my now 29gal biocube..yikes..
