Where to put a bubble trap in sump?

So im going to start building my 20g long sump on saturday, the sump will go protein skimmer chamber, fuge, and return. I only have room for one bubble trap, so should i have it before the fuge or after it?

a local tank builder near me said they always put the bubble traps between fuge and return section (if your setup is Drain/Fuge/Return). This gives the bubbles time and distance to rise to the top before even entering the bubble trap.

I say b4 the fuge...that way u can have the option of putting a fish or coral n there if needed for temporary purposes.
