Where To Put Brown Polyps?

I have a frag of brown polyps on the bottom of my tank 18in from 96watt t-5 ho fixture. I would like to know where I should put them. Closer to the light or keep where currently at. They do not open all the way where they r now.

No. They were brown when I bought them.

Try an area with higher light and flow.
So just move them up. Note, if you've had them for less than a week, you should prob leave them. They could be adjusting to your lights.

If tHey are brown button Palys throw em in the garbage. They are highly toxic. I sold my huge colony of em for $15 .. Be careful when handling them.

I agree. Brown is not a color. Not sure what it is.
