Where to put my vortechs

I have a tall 150 with a center overflow on the back. It is 48"L x 24"W x 30"T
It is built out of a wall with the front and both sides visible. I have 3 mp40w's coming to me in the mail and only have power plugs behind the tank.
I currently have 2 jebao wp40's and a wp25. They are on the 2 sides. All the vortechs would have to be on the back side and I'm starting to 2nd guess my decision to switch to them.
1. Can vortechs work all on the back glass only?
2.Should I just use 2 and keep a jebao to knock out potential dead spots?
3. Stick with all mp40s or trade out 1-2 of them for a couple mp10s?

Well for starters the power cords on them are long enough to reach from the side to the back if you want them there.
The 40s will work on glass up to 1/2 thick which I'm assuming yours is given the dimensions. So I'm also assuming they can go on any side of your tank
On EcoTechs website they have a manual (you won't get it with the pump. I guess $465 isn't enough to include more than the basic instructions with the product) that shows recommended placement.

Recliner,

I would start by putting one pump on each side wall and one in the back. After that experiment with speed and position and until you find what works best for your aquarium.

They can't go on the sides because the walls come down right to the top of the tank and the power plugs are all behind the tank. The only option is having them all on the back side. The tank is 1/2" acrylic.
