where to shop?

I'm heading to Duluth for some school shopping probably the weekend of Aug 11th. Where's the best place/s to hit in Duluth for livestock?

I usually go look in Something Fishy right next to Pure Pleasure but buyer beware, I bought a nice zoo colony and come home with some flatworms that I'm still battling, a couple aiptasia and zoo spiders! Nice of them to throw that in, huh? I bought a feather duster and that one came in pest free but looked like fresh stock also. If you buy, I highly recommend qt. When I asked a while back I was told keep driving all the way to the cities for the good stuff. I stick to ordering online, cheaper than the gas and I get a gaurantee.

I'm going to have to second that, but isn't it World of Fish? Much cheaper and better livestock online,.... that place wanted $50 for a yellow tang about 3" in length,...same one at live aquaria for 19.99. Skip it, save your money, and get something nice AND healthy. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll just stop and look. : ) Can't drive by a fish store. I do know where that is too. I haven't been in there for years!

Oh, probably, I always get those two confused for some reason. I've bought tanks there because they are cheaper than up here, or at least used to be, but livestock is just not worth it. That hippo tang in their display looks so awful, I've only ever seen them feed brine though.

Not only the hippo, but that poor foxface with the missing tail. No algae clip for it and it really should not even be on display, sketchy husbandry at best. I think they just don't understand that side of the retail operation.
