Where's the best place to buy neon gobies around Irvine?

Yea I have a PBT that has ick right now. I've been feeding it seaweed dipped in garlic and have 3 cleaner shrimps in there too. I figure the only other thing is them cleaner gobies

Petco down here at Porter Ranch take good care of their fish latley.

I think they started doing so since we ate them up here on RC:D

Are you going to quarantine the goby for 6 weeks to make sure it doesn't add Ich to the tank?

Who will clean the Ich off the goby? A bigger goby? And then who will clean that bigger goby?

Man, it's a vicious cycle!

I don't know for sure, but it seams like the neon gobies do not get ICH. Maybe they have a different slim to keep stuff like that off them. It would make sense since they are going to be exposed to parisites more then other fish.

yeh, i read that certain fish have a thicker slim coat that's why they're not prone to ich at all.

Nope. Never cleaned a thing, although they set up shop and had babies despite crossing the species boundary (I had one yellow and one blue.)

Eventually the female died of old age and shortly thereafter the male, also at a doddering old age, somehow made it down the overflow (filled with bioballs), over the wallfall into the next chamber, past the skimmer pump intake and through a 4" wide chamber/air bubble trapped packed with rubble in which there were only two 2" holes for the water to flow through. I found him in the return compartment with a broken back; still alive and not sucked into either pump. He died very soon after that.

And STILL never cleaned one thing.

I bet on its way down, it probably rubbed up on some of your tubing and cleaned that :D
