Also, FYI, there is an entire SC Aquariums owners thread here on RC. I found this thread very informative when I was in the market for a new tank, and I went with their 50g. I only bought the tank rather than the pnp setup since I was downsizing and already had all the equipment I needed.
Thank you guys!!! I actually came on here to decide which AIO to get, but when someone mentioned SC tanks i checked it out and wow their tanks are SLEEK and great price.
Im actually coming back to the hobby after many years being out of it, so i still have a few questions i hope you guys can answer.
1)Is a SC tank my best bang for the buck if i decide not to go with the AIO?
2)Am I getting into any additional work with an under the tank sump vs an AIO?
3) Since the SC tanks come with under the tank sump, will it be louder than an AIO?

#1- yes. They are the best for the price and service is amazing.
#2-no. I think it's easier as you have more space to work with and more room for errors... IE temp changes
#2-no.. As long as you plumb it right. Go with a herbie system. I have a cube 50 sca and it's dead silent.
So your saying that an underhand sump has more room for errors for example temp changed? Just curious what's would be the fix for that?
Can you please tell me where to find the SC Aquariums owners thread?
