Which anemone to buy for a pair of False Percs?

Just wondering which anemones I should consider when I finally get around to buying one. I have two false percs in a 55g tank with a yellow tang and royal gramma and a bicolor blenny.

Which is a good anemone for these false percs clownfish to host in?

THANKS!!!

Where is a good place online to find this too, with good shipping prices?

Bubble tip anemone or Rose bubble tip anemone.

An even better idea is to get a LPS like Frog Spawn or Torch and see if your clowns will take to it. Frog spawn and Torch are movable, you can locate and relocate it to any where you want. Whereas an anemone, it has a mind of it's own.

Once your clowns accept a frog spawn or torch, you can get an anmeone and simply switch them over to the anemone.

Anemones are harder to keep happy and there's no gurantee your clowns will host in the anemone.

Frog spawns or Torch are easy to keep and it can serve the same purpose as an anemone.

I actaully have three Torch corals and they never get near them. Makes me start to wonder that they may not like getting stung.

I noticed the other the day that one clown was acting kinda funny. He would swim up and down and throw himself to the bottom sand, hit, and go back up and try it again. He is healthy. I also noticed that in the morning when I turn on the lights they are swimming in the corner of the tank facing perfectly down. Weird.

Yes, the hosting process is not pleasant, they do get stung. I have a pair of soloman island Percs that live in my Torch and I use to see sting marks on their body everyday during the first month.

Knowing that they will host, I purchased a GBTA and a RBTA and remove the torch, they switch over to the anemoes in the same day.

If you do decide to get an anemone, always try to get a clone from one of your local reef club members and even better, get it from someone who has the same lighting as you do, this will save you alot of headache.

I just got two purple tip condy anemones and my two clown fish were hosting in it within an hour. It is so cool to see them together. Mine did not touch the frogspawn at all in my tank.
