Which ATO?

People love the Tunze osmolator, but it is pricey.

I have used an autotopoff.com dual float setup for 3 years or so, never a single problem. I think it is $35 and you supply a pump of your choice. I retro fit a used LiterMeter 3 pump so I can pump from my basement to anywhere in my house.

tunze osmolator is the best ato. i have them run on my tank for long time still did have a problem and they come with the pump i like that too.

I like my Avast ATO. The primary switch has no moving parts, there's a float valve backup, you can hook it up to a aqualifter or a peristaltic pump etc. You can get a version with an outlet or you can get a digital version that hooks directly into a reefkeeper, apex, profilux, or you can get it bare wire and hook it up to whatever you please.

I just like having all the options for building it exactly to my needs.

The best I've ever had was the ELOS digital ATO. It was consistent and kept the water level within a couple mm.
