which brand?

anybody which brand of HQI bulbs are good? i mean which one will give you the right power and wattage?

Lights are like anything else....Its what you like.....More blue or more white light....Its what you plan to keep in your tank....softys,SPS,fish only....Whats in your budget.Post Your answers and we would love to help spend your money.LOL we will help.

i now have a 55g with mostly lps, zoas, shrooms and softies and a few sps and fish. i am upgrading to a 120 and would like to mix my tank with all sort of corals - sps, lps .softies clams, zoas, shrooms and etc. i have now a 2x150 10k hqi and 2x96 03 pc and was wondering if i can still use this lighting with the upgrade i am doing and would like to change my 10k to get more blue but not the 20k and would like to know which brand of bulbs are best. money is not an issue.

Sounds just like my 55! Unfortunately, all I can upgrade to is a 90g. Be careful mixing all those types of corals together. I use Purigen, to help prevent chemical warfare between them.
