I have a Odyssea 24" T5HO fixture that came with 2 10000K and 2 Actinic Blue light. I am thinking about swaping out 1 of the 10000K and 1 of the actinic for an ATI Blue Plus and an ATI Purple Plus. Do you think that's a good bulb setup if I can only buy 2 bulbs right now?

I just ordered 2 ATI Blue Plus bulbs. I got them from aquasythe.com They had a good price on the bulbs and shipping was only $5 with no bulb fee.

so you are guys are saying that you should out 3 attinic like bulbs and one daylight.im not beeing rude i have been wanting to change but i was allways told you want to go with more of the 10000k or lower daylight bulbs then attinics.right now i have 6 24 watt ho bulb set on my 37 high tank i run mostly aguablues the same as ati i have one pink one true attinic all from guessmen i also have leds stunner for attinic.my tank is f'n bright but i also have a sabae in it and i get amazing growth.color is great to but it is way bright.do you think i could go to all blues and i daylight also without a problem in nem and corals.no sps

Corals need more blue light than anything. In my last T5 setup I didn't even use a 10k bulb, I hate them.

For 4 bulbs go with 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI Purple Plus and 1 KZ New Generation.

For 6 bulbs go with 4 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI Purple Plus and 1 GE 6500k.
