Which camera package

Not a camera guy but want something that will take good pics while we are on vacation and for our tank. Which kit seems the best

What's your budget?

The Canon T3 is an entry level DSLR and is fairly versatile. Most of your budget will be in purchasing the lens.

The is a great "all around" lens for crop frame cameras like the T3.

Look into the Olympus E-520 as a great mid-range DSLR w/ extra lenses for <700 ...

It is an older model, however, it offers many of the same functions/options of the other more expensive DSLR setups !

No pro photog here but I do dabble, mostly for research/documentation purposes, and this is the personal setup I use.

Perhaps, others with more expertise would comment on the Olympus E-520 DSLR ...

You can always buy tripods, accessories later, most package stuff, the extra stuff is crap anyways, they give you a tripod the is not tall enough ect.

Factory Refurbished is another way to get more for less. Here's an example for the T3i kit.

any of the camera links seem like good bundles to get started with like mentioned it the lens that will set you back in the future but that could be a while enjoy one of the bundles and if you get hooked on photography take it one step at a time ..enjoy the vacation snap alot of pics..good luck
