Which controller?

I am wanting to put two 6055's in the rear corners of my tank(48x18x30) I would like to have them pulse and alternate about every 5 seconds. Is this possible with the 7095? If anyone has any other ideas or recomendations, I would love to hear. Thanks

Thanks, that helps alot! This plan is still a month or so off, would it be beneficial to wait for he new controller?

I believe most if not all things the 7095 can do including pulsing can be done on the 7096 but I will let Roger attest to that being a fact or not. It is planned for March release last I checked. Depending on what you plan to keep I think the 6105s might be a better or wise choice as the max flow is much higher

this below is from a post from Mid Dec by Roger

The 7096 has just about every feature of the 7095, the only feature lost is the Interval can only be as fast as 1min, on the 7095 1sec is possible. This was a compromise to keep the interface simple. Added features are below:

Moonlight is now 3* more candella, for all practical purposes it appears twice as bright.

"Storm Mode" has been added, every 1-7 days (user setting) the main program is overridden and the pumps all run in a random chaos mode for about an hour to clean up debris.

Food timer duration is programmable.

"Wavebox mode" with auto tuning. 2 channels can run a wavebox and there is a seek feature where it just slowly advances the timing and you hit stop once a wave is created.

The controller is pretty much ready, the only bug we have to work out is with Windows, right now it has trouble with the COM ports and this must be manually assigned 80% of the time, this has to be solved.

I know the 7096 requires a computer to program it- does it need to stay constantly connected to a computer or just to program it?

Thanks alot for the help, looks like I will go with the 7095 as I don't want to deal with hoking it up to the comp. I am going with the 6055's for size and aesthetics.
