Cryptocaryon is in my experience usually more of a nuisance than a serious thread, and if it gets out oh hand and I have to treat it, I prefer hyposalinity or TTM.
I've had great results with hyposalinity especially as a prophylactic treatment for newly acquired fish. However, there are instances when crypto is far too advanced for hypo to be effective. I've tried TTM once on a pair of clowns but I lost the battle. They might have had velvet which made me think that had I used copper I could have saved them. On the flip side, I've been able to save quite a few fishes in near death situations using Coppersafe which is where my reasoning here for its use comes from.
