Which dremel bit for glass?

I'm planning to pick up an AGA 5G tank for a fuge and I want to drill it for a bulk head to dump into the sump. Do I need to buy a diamond coated hole saw or can I just dremel it? Which bit would I need? I figure the glass is so thin that it should be a problem but I thought I would ask first.

I would recommend a hole saw for a circle. I used a rotozip tile cutting bit to cut a weir. $5 at lowes. worked like a charm.

The glass would be so thin on that tank that you would stand a good chance of breaking it trying to use a hole saw. I would dremel it myself using the above mentioned bit.

I wouldn't expect miraculous results with a 5 gal fuge either. No space for a bigger one?

The tile cutting bit is the one I was thinking of, good to hear that will work. I'm trying to keep the space under my tank as open as possible though. Under my 65G, I currently run a 15G AGA sump that is sectioned off into three (one for the fuge) and my current fuge is considerably less than 5G and I've always thought it has worked well. I thought the 5G would be an upgrade, lol.

i used the 14$ harbor freight set and they worked well, but it was on a 135. Good luck with the 5.
