I am looking to add a dwarf Angel fish to my 100gal reef tank. The problem is I am having a problem deciding on which one.

The fish I am considering are:

Coral Beauty
Lemonpeel Angel
Rusty Angel
Pygmy Angel
Flame Angel.

If anybody has any experience with these fish let me know. Especially the less popular ones. Like the Rusty and Pygmy.
BTW. You don't have to remind me that I am taking a risk by putting a Angel fish in a reef tank. I know… :D

I voted Coral Beauty as they are my favorite dwarf on your list, but for me it would really depend on what else you have in the tank now color and temperament wise.

Which pygmy are you considering? Centropyge argi? In my experience C. acanthops is one of the safer Centropyge for reefs and is considered one of the less aggressive pygmy angels.

i voted pygmy but thats only because i love mine. she is very well behaved and swims around all day with her best friend a yellow tailed damsel.

I was wondering about the pygmy. I really like the fish, but I didn't really know anybody who ever had one. Thanks for the info.. :D

asking for trouble with any angel in a reef. a lot of people keep them without problems, but they r the exceptions, most will destroy coral. I put a potters in my 120g and it decided that it loved the taste of micros. Very expensive micros, so he is going to be finding a new home soon. good luck if you choose to get an angel, but i would advise against it.

I would go with C. multicolor. Oops, actually I DID go with this. Twice.
 I have just added a Goldflake (OP - not centropyge). Fingers crossed eh!
