which light should i get?

i have a 46 gal bow tanks and i would like to have clams with sps corals. i would prefer buy only the 6 bulb version but i rather get some of your opinions before i buy them

I'm going the same route you are with the T5s, mine will hopefully get in later this week. From what I've been reading the 8 bulb fixture will definatly be better if you can afford it, but the most important factor with T5s is if it has individual reflectors, supposidly it will give you 300% more light, and thats what you want with SPS. I'm not sure if that fixture has the reflectors,you cant tell from the pic and it doesn't say. If it doesn't definatly go with something that does like aquatinics or tek. you can get a tek horticulture fixture cheap from http://www.1000bulbs.com/, but I'm not sure they have a 36" fixture, and reefgeek has the 36" Tek aquarium fixuture for $239.00. Keep doing research, lighting is one of the most important aspects of keeping a reef, so don't make an uninformed buy, it could end up being just a big waste of money (BTW if it has individual reflectors your should probably only need 4-6 bulbs)
