Anyone have any ideas on which macros look the best for a show seahorse tank and possibly a display fuge? Something that looks nice I guess and nutrient export? I don't know many macros so any help is appreciated, thanks
Seahorses seem to like Caulerpa prolifera, Gracilaria, Halimeda, and Sargassum for natural hitches in their tanks. Each of these do well in displays. Watch the Caulerpa and prune it regularly to avoid sporulation.
There are probably more you could use in this display as well.
Best looking is in the eye of the beholder. Caulerpa, various reds ( botryocladia, gracilaria, scinaia ), codium. There are plenty to choose from, check through the threads in this forum and you'll see alot of them.
