I have a 125 gal tank 72"x18"x20" . The only water movement I have right now is from the return pump. It's approximatly 900-1000 gph from 2 returns on opposite sides of the tank . I do have a DSB also. Would the Turbelle electronic kit be what I want or the sream???? And would one on one end of the tank be enough for the tank??
Thanks
Jeff

What are you intending to keep? What type of tank is it, Acrylic or Glass. What is important to you in a pump, less obtrusive, price, heat production, etc? Tell me more about your set up and I can help you choose a flow set.

Well lets see the tank is glass. I want primarily sps but I have a large toad stool leather that is kinda in the way. I guess I want it to be less seen than anything and then heat and then price. I just didnt want to add 4 ph's with a wave maker kinda thing. I have alot of dead zone's that I need more flow to. I'm kinda conserned with the dsb but I need to do something.
Thanks Jeff

I could see two options, a 6110 stream on one end turned down slightly. Or since you mentioned visibility 2 4002 pumps positioned back center blowing into the front corners. These are top mounted and the only draw back is the need for bearings and maintenance every couple years. Also the controller for the Classic style pumps are more expensive.

The 6110 $325 is your most cost effective, slightly intrusive at a 4.5" cube, tons of flow, may disturb the sand bed. Ideally you would put your flow from return through a 1" sea swirl on the other end.

The 4002 set will cost twice as much about $700, only part in the tank is the intake, probably will disturb the sand slightly, more intricate control is possible with the 7082/2.

These would be my suggestions.

Thanks Roger
I'm going to look into them both. It's good to have you here for the help and advise.
