I'm new to photography for the most part and am looking into getting a camera to take better pictures than my iPhone. I attempted to use my moms camera to get some macro shots of my tank, but the whole tank was white, couldn't see a thing.
I'm looking at the Nikon D3000, but would the cheaper Coolpix L810 be sufficient? I'd just like to take some quality pictures of my corals and fish, with the ability to take macro shots and videos as well.
Or if there is another brand that's good, I'll work with that. Any information would be helpful. I'd rather not spend a lot of money on the camera, that would mean less money on the tank
