For my 30 gallon as a broodstock pair?
They will be the only inhabitants of the tank which has lr and snails and 110 watts of pc lighting. It is also open topped so dont really want jumpers if possible.
would any of the larger clowns be comfortable in a tank that size.
Also thinking about an anemone at some point in the future,
I can get hold of
a. nigripes
a.clarkii
a.ocellaris (orange and black variants)
a. percula
a. sandaracinos
a. polymnus
a.sebae
a. eppiphium
a. melanopus
a. frenatus
a.alliokopsis
a.peridion
p.biaculatus
(sorry about some spellings)

Really important I get this right there will be qt and dips before they go in and I will get a bta possibly bta later date.
Breeding is the important bit so which ones??

I would pick whatever your current market needs or the one I wanted as long term pets with the option to grow out a few fry.

USA market screams for Ocellaris and Clarks.

I would assume your market would also follow that trend and possibly be even more supportive of the black ocellaris.

Black ocellaris are easy to raise, hard to get spawning.

I went for two true percs still fairly small (they had been in the lfs for 3 weeks) look like they will grow into some nice stripes. Pics to follow.

Did the usual last night slept at the top of the QT tank almost on their sides I covered the tank to prevent jumping.
The black occs were too pricy for me at the moment.
I also dipped them in formalin for an hour they looked v clean before they went in but during the dip they both shed some white mucus and so I believe the dip was very worth while.

Decided on these they are small but nice.not quite grown into their stripes fully
