Which phosphate kit to get?

we'll salifert phosphate test kits are worthless and i'm not about the get a colorimeter so i'm looking for oppinions on which test kit would be the best and if it isn't too much to ask a little reason why

The LaMotte deos not go down far enough, only to .2, the HACH goes to .02. The Merck is also OK..

so Hach is better then the Merck.

I use the Hach (PO-19). It is good down to about 0.03 ppm phosphate. .02 ppm and below is hard to see.

Yes, and the Hach kits are not cheap.

Okay, I went to the Hach website. How on earth do you know which phosphate or nitrate test to get? They have so many different ones-wheels, strips, etc... And then when you look at say the wheel ones, under phosphate-they have all kinds of phosphate tests.

The phosphate kit to get is Hach PO-19. That is what I use.
