Fairly certain this will get'er done! Comes with a mount. They make a 2.5 hp model just FYI.

I would definitely add another gyre. Brs has a pretty sweet Apex program for them that moves the turbulence point back and forth across the tank. You can use their program on any DC wave maker for that matter... I'm using it with 2 jebao pp-8s on a 6 foot display and I'm really happy with the flow pattern. Unfortunately, my 6-foot tank has dual corner overflows and is only 18 in deep, so no gyres for me

If I already had a gyre, my sense of symmetry would require a second also be a gyre...

I agree with a second gyre. I had MP60s in my last tank and switched to all gyres and never looked back. If you're familiar with it, I'd go with another one.
