I need to buy a return pump for my sump/refugium. I need it to be rated about 700gph with head loss, I should be looking at 500gph. I was thinking of the Mag 7, mainly b/c I used them in the past and they are cheap, but I heard they produce alot of heat. Is this true?
Are there any other pumps out there that produces min heat and about the same price range as mag 7? I would rather not pay for a pump that cost twice as much with a very min heat saving differences.
