Which pump to use to mix salt water

Any recommendations on a cheap pump to use to churn my 55g bin to make my salt water? What are you guys using?

It doesnt matter, just as long as its strong enough to stir up the salt thats settled at the bottom of your container should be good.
I mix my salt in 5 gal buckets so I just use a small penguin powerhead (170gph).

I use any pump that I have available. Sometimes a m12,m9 or a sedra 3500, or what ever I have that I can find easy

Ah, ok I've been using a mj1200 for my first batch, I wasn't sure if it was being effective or not. I guess it is!

Thanks.

If there's one thing I've learned from the earthquakes, its to have a lot of water made up. I always have atleast 30 gals of salt water made up and 30 gals of RO\DI. I keep the MJ running all the time in the makeup drum.

A larger pump would mix faster but its going to raise the temp of the water a lot more so you need to keep an eye on that. That could be a good thing during the winter. I had to float some ice last night just to bring the temp close to range.
