Which reef tank is better?

I am hoping to start a nanoreef. Which company is better. JBJ or Oceanic or innovative marine? Why? Thanks in advance!

Oceanic seems more commonly used. But if you refer to the biocube tank. There are about 5 different makers of the same product- the biocube style tank

how nano do you want to go? 1,2,3,10,14,29 gallon. That would make the biggest factor. If you would want to do a 3 gallon jbj makes a great starter tank. But if you want 14 gallon biocube is the way to go. What size are you looking for or budget you working wiht?

Lots of support and information around here on JBJ and Oceanic with plenty of info on modding, adding equipment, aquascaping examples, etc. I'm partial to the JBJ because I've had very good luck with mine in the 2-yrs it's been running.

I have a 8 gallon innovative marine so I can only speak to that. I like the tank, build quality is good, pump is properly sized as well. I feel that with the 1 skkye 8watt that comes standard is too weak for a real reef tank so I bought and another one and run two. I do not like the media/filtration basket, it is cheap flimsy plastic and does not fill the entire chamber so water can simply bypass it with is to me the biggest flaw with the tank. InTank has been said to be planning to make a media basket for it though. The rear chambers and light clamps are also salt creep magnets which is pretty ugly when one of the reasons that this tank is bought is for the topless/ rimless asthetics which the salt creep just ruins. Overall I do like this tank and I am happy with it.

Depends on what type of tank you want. A true all in one with hood and all or an all in one like the innovative marine where you can choose your own lighting, it's open top and you will have less problems with the tank overheating. I have a bio-cube, JbJ Nano cube and have had a few Cadlights tanks. They can all make for great tanks. How easy do you want it to be to take care of and do you like doing DIY type stuff?
