Which replacement PSU for a 6055

Hi Roger, can a PSU from a 6215 Wavebox be used on a 6055 whose PSU has blown? What causes a PSU to fail, could it be the pump? Regards Andy

It will work, the 6215 PSU is 50W, the 6055 is only 30W, you can use the 50W on the 6055, but you can't use the 6055 power supply to run a wavebox. The power supplies don't last indefinitely. In reasonable conditions, they last about 3-4 years. If the humidity is above 70% or the temperature is above 30C where it is positioned, the life can be shortened dramatically. It is the same sort of power supply a laptop computer uses and while most of us cycle through laptops before we see the power supply fail, they also fail after 4-5 years and the longer life is largely due to it being called upon less frequently. The correct PSU is 6055.240.
