Which return pump on my new 185gallon?

I can't decide... I have it narrowed down to an Eheim 1262 internal or if I go external a Reeflo Snapper. 900gph vs 2400gph.
I'd like the flow but have been told that I should slow down the water in my sump by many. The system will be built around a Bubble King Supermarin 250 and a large phosphate reactor.
So which should I go with?

I would go with the snapper. If you need to, you could throttle it down. But I know a couple people that have snappers on their 180s and they seem to work well.

A 1262 is a very nice return for a 180G. Using the 3 - 5x display rule of thumb, you should have 540 - 900 GPH from the return. The 1262 will be right in the middle of that range.
